Using Your Guest List [Tutorial]

LittleKnot's Guest List is more than just a list. It has an array of uses and functions that help in Invitation, Seating Plan and RSVP. In this section, you will learn how to use your guest list after you have added your guests.


MANUALLY CHANGING RSVP STATUS

  1. Click Guest List on the navigation menu.
  2. Click on the guest whose RSVP status you will manually change.
  3. Click More Details found below the tags section.
  4. Change the RSVP Status. 
    • Not Attending
    • Attending

 

ADDING TAGS TO INDIVIDUAL OR MULTIPLE GUESTS

Tags help categorise your guests. You will find this useful later on when you proceed to create your Seating Plan

  1. Click Guest List on the navigation menu.
  2. To change tag of Individual guest, click on the guest whose tag you want to change.
  3. Below the name of the guest, there is a space with you or your partner’s name. Change it to your desired tag and press enter. 
    • Ex. Bride’s Family, Groom’s Family, 
  4. To change tag of multiple guests, click on the checkbox of the guests whose tag you wish to change.
  5. On the right side of the page, below the name of the guests whose checkbox you have clicked, write the name of your desired tag on the space provided and press enter.
    • Ex. Bride’s Family, Groom’s Family

 

VIEW BY TAG OR RSVP STATUS

  1. Click Guest List on the navigation menu.
  2. To view by tag, click All Tags and choose the tag you only wish to see.
    • Ex. Bride’s Family
  3. To view by RSVP status, click All Statuses and choose the RSVP status you only wish to see.
    • Ex. Attending      

 

VIEW EMAIL/ MOBILE

  1. Click Guest List on the navigation menu.
  2. To view guests with both Email and mobile entered, click All Contacts and choose Email and Mobile
  3. To view guests with Email only entered, click Email only
  4. To view guests with Mobile only entered, click Mobile only

SELECTING THE INVITATION TEMPLATE GUESTS WILL RECEIVE

  1. Click Guest List on the left side of the screen
  2. Click on a guest
  3. In the Send Invitation section, below Step 1, choose the message template you want to use for this guest
    • Ex. Choose Family for guests with Bride’s Family or Groom’s Family tags
    • Use tags as reference for appropriate message template

 

SEARCH FOR GUESTS

  1. Click on the magnifying glass on the upper right hand of the screen.
  2. Type the name of the guest you wish to search for.
  3. Search results will appear in the guest list panel.

 

REMOVE GUESTS

  1. Click on the guest you wish to remove.
  2. Click More details, which can be found below the name and tags input line.
  3. Click Remove guest

 

SEND OUT INVITATIONS VIA EMAIL/SMS

  1. Click on a guest you wish to send invitation to. 
  2. In the Send Invitation section, set if you want to send Email only, SMS only or both by using the swipe button beside the email/sms input to turn on/off the mode of communication according to your preference.  
  3. Click the Send Email and SMS button.
